Improv Overdrive

Sep 18, 2018

A very special episode starring those Two Gentlemen of Vermont, the Shakespearean improvisers known as LONGFELLOW. Straight off their appearance in the Providence Improv Festival (and in advance of their upcoming performance at the Burlington Fringe Festival on October 13th), these two modest players join hosts Nathan Hartswick & Brian DeLaBruere (The Unmentionables) and accompanist Adam Rabin. Listen in and learn the origin story of how these two Renaissance-era actors came to tread the boards in our modern time.

Recorded at Vermont Comedy Club, presenting Gary Gulman (Sept 20-22) and Chad Daniels (Sept 27-29). The Unmentionables can be seen every Thursday at 9pm. Adam Rabin, in addition to providing accompaniment on this episode, also composed our theme music (check him out at Longfellow is made up of Daniel Trigg and another gentleman named Nathan (info at

Improv Overdrive is a comedy podcast co-hosted by Nathan Hartswick and Brian DeLaBruere. Each week they invite their improviser friends to make up dumb scenes in a dimly-lit room. You're invited, too.
